{Randomness}

Can I just say I have the best friends ever! Thank you all for your advice, good luck wishes on my talk and for just being great friends. My talk is now written, but am I ready to give it? Not on your life! I do have to say, the Lord knew what I needed in my life right now and I've learned much as I prepared for this.
I just realized that this is my 100th post! I noticed awhile back that I was getting close, and thought I should do something fun, spectacular, goofy, or well, something....but that thought left me as soon as it came and so, this is going to be a complete random and unspectacular post? I do have to say I've loved blogging. I get my thoughts, random as they may be, out there. I've kept in touch with friends and family, found old friends, and met some great new ones. You guys have laughed with me, (and at me, I'm sure) you've given advice and mourned with me, and taught me much. I love all your comments and well, I just love blogging! Thanks guys-now on to more of my randomness.
One of our families favorite things is dinner for breakfast. This is one of the only meals that everyone will eat and I truly love not hearing; Yuck, my hate that, I'm not even trying it, etc, etc. Also, since we got the chickens it helps us to use up those eggs. Most weeks we have breakfast-dinner on Friday, but sometimes not. This week, I wanted to do something different and remembered a yummy sauce my mom used to make, Butter Sauce. Yep, it's still as yummy as I remembered (and it's easy too) and everyone loved it! I think we used to always have it with french toast, but I'm not a big fan, so we tried it with waffles. Try it, I bet you'll like it!

{Butter Sauce}
1 cube butter or margarine, melted
1 cup sugar
1/2 - 3/4 cup evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Add sugar to melted butter, add evaporated milk and vanilla and heat through.

If any of you are needing a good book, I just finished one. The Wednesday Letters, by Jason F. Wright. I really liked it, it's a quick easy read and well, I liked it.

12 nice, polite comments! (otherwise, don't bother!):

I am glad you finished your talk. You will do great giving it. I always get so scared to give talks but I do it when I am asked.

I love blogging too, for the same reasons you gave.

I will have to check out that book and try the butter sauce. I love having breakfast for dinner.

Buttersauce? Hmm...that sounds very intriguing. We will have to try that one time. Our family is much like yours, we LOVE breakfast for dinner too! How can you NOT!! Ever been to the 1 Man Band Diner? That is my favorite place for breakfast and I will eat breakfast there every time, no matter what time of the day!

BTW - I am still waiting for your address so I can send you an apple!! You were missed that night and I truly wish you were a little closer so we could "hang" some time. I enjoy you blogging, but I bet you are even better in person!! Cannot wait to meet you (again) in November! -Suzanne
